At Hibernia Cycling Tours we pride ourselves on having a leadership team that is hugely knowledgeable, experienced and passionate about all aspects of cycling. Our promise is to make your cycling holiday experience in Ireland a memorable one and the best way to ensure this is to have a great team of cyclists guiding, encouraging and supporting you on your way.


Aidan Quigley An avid cyclist , Aidan is also a veteran of Iron Man Frankfurt 2009, Iron Man Nice 2010 and Ironman Lanzarote 2011. Aidan brings a wealth of cycling experience and a huge motivational ability to all the participants who partake in cycling holidays organized by Hibernia Cycling Tours. Aidan is based in "Loftus Hall" Hook Head Co. Wexford the new venue for sports in the Sunny South East where he organises individual or group trips and events. He is also a veteran of the cobbles of Roubaix and the Alpine and Pyrenean mountains.

Alan Galvan Alan Galvan is one of the most promising club cyclists on the Irish cycling scene. Alan is renowned for his power and acceleration when racing. Alan has a huge knowledge of the technical and nutritional aspects of cycling. A highly focused and goal orientated athlete with a background in the hospitality and leisure industry, Alan will be a help and motivation to everyone who rides with Hibernia Cycling Tours.

Declan Byrne Declan Byrne is currently an active club cyclist and a convert from triathlon. Riding a Colnago for training and a Trek for racing, Declan has had a love of cycling all his life. He is a veteran of three L’etape Du Tours (two of which were to Alp D’Huez and Mount Ventoux) Declan loves the mountainous terrain. A strong leader with a wealth of both business and people management experience, Declan also has a wealth of local knowledge and insight to guide you on your way.

Lynn Hayden Lynn comes from a mountain bike background and has completed the Transalp event. A strong sportive rider, Lynn has completed in several Etape du Tour events. When not riding his bike, Lynn is a qualified massage therapist and he will be on call after each day of cycling to get the tired and aching muscles of Hibernia Cycling Tours participants back in working order.

Michael Mulcahy Michael has a wealth of cycling experience having completed no less that seven Ras stage races in Ireland (http://www.fbdinsuranceras.com/event/index.shtml). With a string of club race victories to match in his career, Michael has focused on putting his vast cycling experience to good use by completing Iron Man Lanzarote 2010, 2011 Iron Man UK 2010 and Ironman Regensburg 2011. Michael has a huge cycling knowledge from a technical, mechanical and racing point of view, and this will be invaluable to all who ride with Hibernia Cycling Tours.
